As of October 4, 2025, Casey is located at FCI Mendota, but we expect them to be moved through several federal facilities before they reach their long term placement. Check the BOP Inmate Locator for Casey’s current location before writing. They are still awaiting security classification, and transfer to a different facility could happen at any time without notice.

Things to keep in mind:

• Leave a 1-inch margin around the page of your letter, otherwise your text may be cut off during the scanning process.
• Stay mindful—even after sentencing, surveillance is the same as it’s been. Reckless conversations could cause Casey more harm.
• Do not discuss the contents of the case. Receiving mail discussing their case can continue to seriously endanger them.
• Don’t valorize Casey. They are a person and a member of our community, not a symbol or martyr. Casey isn’t looking for praise, but rather to maintain correspondence.
• Don’t write anything you wouldn’t want Fox News, a cop, or a judge to see. Assume that intelligence and law enforcement agencies are reading your letter.
